Adobe Photoshop CS6: Sneak Peek

Adobe Photoshop CS6 sneak peek videos have been up on youtube for about a month now. They seem to release new ones to show new features they are working on for CS6. We do know that the new version of Photoshop will have a darker interface for a couple of reasons; to help showcase the artwork that you are working on, and to make it more consistent with other Adobe applications.

They have also upgraded the performance in the new version. Those who work on high res images will have less lag and performance issues (that is if you have a good computer). They have included a bunch of new blur, liquify, and color enhancing tools.

Check out the video series here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBIf9KljT68&feature=youtu.be

Goes up to #6 I believe..

  1. Wow! Another CS already. It seems just like yesterday that the buzz was CS5. How time flies. Are the required specs for the new application out or have they not been released to date? I have a growing interest in this suite as I look to get into photography and have been dabbling in HTML for a while now. Photoshop skills are handy in both situations and a great tool to have knowledge in. Do you plan to upgrade? I assume the cost will be pretty steep, knowing the typical cost of these suits.

  2. I don't think I will upgrade unless it seems absolutely necessary but it does look like CS6 benefits photographers. I'm sure the required specs will be about the same as cs5 but I believe they wont be released until it's about to come out.
